No but that’s a great idea for when I need a new purse in a few months
@Alf I am finding out that I need to have either a larger purse for all size books or multiple sized purses. This problematic as I am only a purse carrier by default. lol
I have to have a shoulder purse and I have found that there is always a Vera Bradley purse that works and can be washed and dried. They are pricey, but last a long time.
I did, and I still make sure my Kindle now fits. I have to gave a book of some sort always with me, and if I happen to be reading a hard back book, I will grab a paperback to have with me.
@Debbie Yes! Although, since I prefer physical copies, I do not carry my Kindle most times.
Michelle Hudson I was like you, but got a Kindle for Christmas and I am handicapped, in that I only have the use of my left hand and it has proven to be much easier to carry, to open, not worrying about a book mark etc. I still read my books if I am going to be reading at home.
I do if my book doesn’t fit I don’t buy it

Yep. Mine needs to fit 3 books, one for me, and each boy and potentially 2 iPads (for long trips for boys) and my ipad since I have kindle app on ipad. Plus, my wallet, etc. My purses are so big! ?

oh god yes… and also the other way around. I keep looking for smaller editions of my favorite books, that will fit in my purse. But that doesn’t stop me carrying a fairly big size of books in my bag, sometimes a couple of them.
Yes…always buy a tote so that I can fit in my Kindle too

I use Vera Bradley purses for the simple reason that they have a couple off styles that hold a book perfectly.
I can’t wait to show your post to my daughters! They laugh at me for doing this! It’s a requirement for all my purses!

Yes, that why my purses are from the Mary Poppins collection. They are big, deep and full of surprises. They have to be able to hold a min of 1 book.
Mine alway fits a book, water bottle and a notebook. My husband just shakes his head.

i can tell when i buy a purse if a book will fit. what bothers me are trade paperbacks, they have made be buy purses bigger than i need

I carry humongous totes with my phone in a cover that holds my drivers license and one credit card, etc. I usually leave the tote in the car and carry the phone in its cover into stores. Like to have pockets in which to put it and my keys..

Ok, I will amend my first response because I love what everyone is sayin. ( and maybe we need more photos?) but my purses always will hold my iPad for daily stuff ( yes, I often have shoulder pain) but when I travel, I do a backpack that my purse will fit in for when I get there ( since planes have gotten very funky about what you can carry on). Must Carry Books!
My sweet little Kindle Paperwhite has 347 books on it. Very light weight. Doesn’t take up much room. I keep a small book of crossword puzzles to. No shoulder pain yet! Stay tuned ????☺?
