Does your library allow you to suspend holds? I just learned about this feature last year and I love it!
Yes, this is a great feature.
I use it mainly to avoid having books arrive during a trip. Some people make a habit of placing holds and immediately suspending them, then releasing each hold when ready to read.
That way you can move up through the waitlist, but not get surprised to have books arrive at inconvenient times.

Yes, but with that many, I usually end up bailing on one of them about 10% into it.

Suspend the hold! It took me awhile to figure this out. When you are busy reading one or two books, go in and suspend all books that might pop.
Seems like it always goes that way! Feast or famine as they say

You can freeze your holds at my libraries. Then when you’re fist on thelist for one of them you can unfreeze it.
Didn’t know about this and just looked and my library has this feature! Amazing!
