– dog earred books
– I don’t keep any books and have no desire to “build a library”
– I quit books too fast if I’m not into them
– I read really fast

I love doing this! Heck, I have a hard time not buying duplicates of the same edition

I wouldn’t call any of my habits “scandalous”, per se. There’s no right way or wrong way to enjoy your books!

I basically ALWAYS have a book boyfriend in every book…
Sometimes more than one…
Does that count?
???
Fun fact: my husband always wishes death for current book bf.???

-I doggy ear mass market paperbacks
-I speed read way too much
-I buy multiple copies of the same book (The name of the Wind…I always buy all the copies I find at half priced books to give to friends)
-I buy books faster than I can read them

I like receiving ARCs than buying the finished book.
I also like to buy both the American and the UK editions of books.
And I love buying bookish merchandise off Etsy. Candles, bookmarks, mugs, anything that it is bookish related I have to buy.
If anyone wants some great book merchandise shops to look up on Etsy, I have a great list of both candle and bookmark shops.

I collect multiple editions of some books and I’ve never understood why people have an issue with it ?

I scribble out bad words so my kids can read them. (Only on books I own, of course).

I use my own library card, as well as my mother’s so that I can check out up to 12 books at a time. And I regularly get about that many

This is my favorite answer so far.

Haha I would do that to avoid the fines I inevitably accrued from having overdue books

What kind of cruel library only lets you check 6 books out per card?!

Stephanie

lol you’d be surprised! But at this point I bet the librarians would let me get more if I asked REALY nice ?

I will dog ear if I am too lazy to eat up for a bookmark. I underline quotes that hit me. And sometimes I lose concentration during audiobooks and don’t go back and re-listen ?

I hate marking books or dog earring them lol.. I don’t like missing ANYTHING, so sometimes I’ll go back and re-read the paragraph or page over and over.
