I would say I am a pretty even 50/50 between my physical books and my Kindle! I try really hard to pick up a book from the library at least once a month, too, as I know that the more numbers they have for check-outs the easier it will be for them to get local funding. To do that I have tried really hard to use the library for every third or fourth book I read.

Audio so I can do other things or knit. Helps me focus and doesn’t require me to find extra time in my day.

Ebook. I used to be a bit of a book snob and only bought the “real” thing but then my husband joined the Army and I had to lug them everywhere. Lol that changed my mind real fast.

Audio! I am able to listen for about 5 hours of my workday so that helps me get in a ton of reading! Plus, I love to listen while taking my dog on long walks!

For non-fictions I prefer physical while for e-books for fiction. I also borrow both forms of books from the library. Gotta love my Overdrive app.

Ebook honestly. The ease of it and the fact my kids can’t pull out a bookmark endears them to me

Physical book. To me there is nothing like that book smell and feel. Im deeply connected to books in general because they were my escape when i was younger. I had an ebook and it just wasnt the same to me.

I honestly love them all depending on a situation. Hardcore spring cleaning begins and audiobooks mean I can “read” while getting things done. Traveling? A kindle means I can take tons of books without worrying about lugging thick heavy books around! Still, when I can curl up on the couch with a blanket and some tea, a kindle works fine, but there is still something about the feel of a book in the hand sometimes!

I’ve come to prefer audiobooks for nonfiction but I’m not fussed on the physical vs ebook thing these days

Digital. I am so used to how easy it is to hold or prop with the fold out cover and having the same font size and margins all the time.

I’ll read in any form. I don’t have a favorite. Reading is reading for me. As long as I get to do it… what, when, where and how never matters.

Physical book. For some reason, I cannot keep my attention on the book with an e-reader at all. I love my audiobooks for driving, though.

Depends on what I am reading. The more cerebral or series I prefer the physical. At work I prefer light and fluffy romances on audible.

Physical for educational purposes, classical mythology, classics in general, and things like Harry Potter. Digital for fantasy, new, and everything else.

Kindle while traveling for fun reading
Audio while on a road trip

I will always do physical books because that’s what I prefer and I haven’t run into any problems with it yet. I find it hard to listen to audiobooks because my mind will shift, and digital hurts my eyes since I’m already looking at screens for long periods at a time already

i need both a hard copy and an ebook copy. the day they make it so you get a free e-copy with the hard copy (like they do with DVDs) is the day i’ll never complain about anything again.

@Kell I can’t believe this isn’t a thing yet! You should get an ebook licence for every hard copy you buy.

I don’t have a preference. I usually read with the medium that keeps my attention at the moment. Right now it’s audio books.

Depends on the mood and situation: if i’m in the bus, walking, cleaning etc – audiobook, If i’m reading before bedtime – kindle because of the backlight, if i’m at home on a sunday and relaxing I might just pick up a physical book i borrowed from the library:)

All of the above.
But mainly end up with ebooks because it’s just more convenient when you’re on the move a lot

All of it. It just really depends what is convenient at the moment.

It depends on the book itself. Some books I want a physical copy of. Others it doesn’t really matter the format.

I prefer digital and hard copy but it does depend on the book. If it’s a beefier book then I get it on my iPad and if it’s less than 400 pages I get a hard copy of it. There are exceptions like Patrick Rothfuss or Neil Gaiman and I must get those on hard copy (oh! And Terry Pratchett, I just started collecting the Discworld series)

I love the physical act of reading a book — the smell, the sound of the turning pages, and don’t forget cute bookmarks.

That said, my hands get sooo tired anc cramped from holding a book. I’m finding reading on an e-reader (especially one with a back light) so much easier for that.

Physical I think. I like e books too but I like the security of having a paper copy of my favs

Physical is my favorite, but audio is a close second. Audiobooks allow you to read while you’re doing things that would normally inhibit reading- like when you drive or exercise. Plus they give a super unique aspect to the story.
