I will never ever conform to the e-book craze! I grew up reading real handheld books, and I will die reading real handheld books! I need the smell of the print and the feel of the pages in my hand!!!!!!! Call it old fashioned, but it’s the only way to read in my opinion!
Real books always, I have no plan of owning a kindle or e-reader. I love to hold a book, turn the pages, there is no appeal for me to want to read a book off a computer screen.
I like to own physical books, but I like reading ebooks, if that makes any sense? Like the reading experience is much better for me if I’m reading on my tablet, and I also finish ebooks much quicker than physical books.
I read lots of ebooks and paper books and I also always have some audiobooks going, so I guess I don’t have a preference? I’m just grateful that stories exist in so many formats so that they can be accessible to more people ?
I love all formats of reading and beleive all options available are as important as the other! They all have their way of making the magic inside come to life and accessible for everyone! The book itself is the same no matter how we choose to receive the information! The important thing is the content within not how it’s wrapped!
I prefer ebooks because… most times they are cheaper… kindles are good for reading at night without keeping a light on and you can hold thousands of thick books with you all at one time
I like digital when I’m out and about and traveling because I have an entire library on one tablet. I like physical books when I want to give my eyes a break from the digital lighting and when I read just before bed.
luckily we have a great public library where I live. I always check to see if they have a book before I buy it, and if they have it for download that’s even better because I don’t have to go over there and can get it any time of the day.
I love reading in whatever format it comes in – I love the feel of books, but I also love being able to take a couple of books with me on one device and make the font bigger when needed.
I loved physical books so much that I was disappointed when my husband bought me a Nook for Christmas several years ago. Then, my obsession with series, turned my disappointment into love of my E reader. So much so that the next year he bought me the Nook HD and I was upset because I was so in love with my original Nook I didn’t see the point! I gifted my first nook to my Mom and now we read the same books together. There’s just something so nice about having an endless supply of books in your hand with an E reader.
Physical books. Nothing beats the feeling of holding it in your hand, turning the pages, writing little notes, maybe dog ears, the smell of an old book !!!
Gotta have the page.
Ebook
Physical books are my favorite. Real books have curves! ?
Physical. I don’t buy books either, only use the library. ??

It makes carrying hundreds of books easier and ebooks are relatively cheaper
@Mary I get what you are saying. But my personal opinion I prefer physical books.
Both. Physical is good for reading. Ebooks are good for making notes & highlighting my favourite quotes.

Both, I prefer physical books, but even I have to admit an e-book is sometimes more convenient.
can’t do that with an ebook?
never tried an e-book so can’t compare but have no interest in trying either so I suppose I’m an actual book lover!
I like to own physical books, but I like reading ebooks, if that makes any sense? Like the reading experience is much better for me if I’m reading on my tablet, and I also finish ebooks much quicker than physical books.
Actual books can touch and smell.
And cause eye strain if reading in low light… which my kindle doesn’t
I have my mom’s when passed away. She loved her kindle good Lord is that what she had? I still love my books
Am I the only person who buys ebooks and then physical books if it’s good enough to take up shelf space?

Both.
I feel like comparing ebooks to physical books is the same as asking if someone prefers vinyl over mp3.
It is a format…. same story, same words …
Both have their merits but I prefer physical books maybe 60% of the time. Kindle is fantastic for reading in bed without disturbing anyone.
Physical unless I’m going on a training exercise than Ebook
I read lots of ebooks and paper books and I also always have some audiobooks going, so I guess I don’t have a preference? I’m just grateful that stories exist in so many formats so that they can be accessible to more people ?

I like to hold a real book and place it back on my shelf when finished, I think a bookcase is like a trophy cabinet x
Physical most of the time, but sometimes depending on the situation ebooks.
Getting older I like e-books to increase the font size and to change contrast of page vs. lettering to make it easier to read.

I love it when my students walk into the library, take a deep breath, and pronounce, “I love the smell of libraries.”
We need a musty-book cologne! And then, there’s the feeling of the paper … exquisite! ?
@Nard not sure about cologne, but there’s a candle with that scent. ?
@Mary OMG! I’d love that candle. Can you point me to where I can buy one? TY.

Physical books. Nothing beats the feeling of holding it in your hand, turning the pages, writing little notes, maybe dog ears, the smell of an old book !!!
Both. Since there might be time you can’t carry the book due to unexpected circumstances so ebook will suffice. ?
Physical books! Ereaders hurt my eyes after a while. Books never do that
1. Physical books. 2. e-books 3. Audio Books .. they all end in books.
