Read leaving time !!
I have read almost all of her books and I think Plain Truth might be my favorite. It centers on the Amish and I really enjoyed all details about Amish life, plus an interesting storyline!
Also really loved Small Great Things, Storyteller and Leaving Time.
Some of her books had started to feel a little cookie cutter to me at one point, but they are all well written and give you something to think about.
I can’t pick ? although I’ve only read 5 so far

Plain Truth is great. My book club just read Spark of Light. We all really enjoyed it and it made for an awesome discussion.
Plain Truth was fantastic. You can’t go wrong with any of her novels.

Those are the two I’ve read. So good.
Actually every book of hers is great. The Perfect Match is heart wrenching and you will never guess the ending.

I just finished spark of light. Was very good. Thought provoking like all her novels.
That’s so hard to choose because I love them all, but if I had to choose…Small, Great Things.

I enjoyed songs of the humpback whale. I believe that was her first novel. The story is told backwards in some parts. Interesting!

RE: My Sister’s Keeper- skip the move. There is no way the movie was as good as the book. JP’s imagery and character studies, what makes the book so moving, did not translate to the screen.
I always feel the book is way better than the movie.
90%. There’s a handful of book to movie conversions that I really loved and hold up to the novel. The Book Thief is one.
