I read that book probably when I was in my late teens. I’m 63 years old now and I haven’t read a book that comes any near The Thorn Birds! What an epic book. Loved the mini series too!

@Robin ?? exactly. I’m a little older than you, and I read it maybe 30 years ago. Before I was a “reader”. Just saw the cover and started in. Most books I totally forget the story, but I seem to retain a fair amount of Thorn Birds.
