My favorite book used to be LOTR by Tolkien – I must have read them more than 10 times, but the movies kind of killed my joy of reading them :-(. I’ll have to go with Stephen King/The Stand if I must point out a single book – otherwise I love Jean M. Auel’s Earth’s Children (have read those more than 10 times as well), and I LOVE the Outlander series and Harry Potter and The Dresden Files and …

I was not a fan of hers after I read the Grisha trilogy.
But, after Six of Crows I’m like…this woman gave me everything I’ve ever asked for in a book. She deserves to be my favourite author of all times ?

So it’s Leigh Bardugo. And Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom are my favourite books ever.

Other than that it Sarah J. Maas, upon starting the Throne of Glass series I wasn’t utterly obsessed with it, it wasn’t until the third book, (when I was sobbing) that I thought “Shit, this just got good.”
Yeah, the series gets progressively better with each book and despite the issues I have with the series I love it because Sarah J. Maas is a great storyteller, an amazing world builder and she gives me badass female characters and epic fights and magic and everything ??.

Again this one. I didn’t like her first series (The Mortal Instruments) I enjoyed her other series for the most part (The Infernal Devices) but The Dark Artifices came out of nowhere and just blew me out of the water…I loved the characters and the plot and the writing was a lot better, and it just goes to show how much Cassandra Clare has grown as an author, she still isn’t perfect (I had one issue with TDA) but…I just love it so so much. My favourite books by her are obviously Lady Midnight and Lord of Shadows. ?? because feels.
