Re-read Harry Potter. It was the book that got me into reading so it’s my go to. Reminds me why I love reading

Re-read a favorite, read something light and fluffy, read a middle grade book, read a graphic novel or time yourself reading…like read for 20 mins at a time

Honestly I read what I like to call “fluff” books, a rom-com in a book basically. They go so quick and are usually a pretty easy (and good!) read. My go to authors tend to be Kasie West or Kody Keplinger. I just got out of a small slump with Jenny Han.

In June, I read Marriage Illustrated With Crappy Pictures in about an hour total. Then I went in to read 6 more books in June alone. Now I’ve been reading a book for a month ?

I read a harlequin or something equally as mindless or comedic.

Nora Roberts cures my slump every time. I read her witchy, paranormal, Celtic books only, none of that murder mystery stuff haha. I’ll read a trilogy (or 2) of hers in a week and it’ll be back to business as usual for me!

Have you read the bridal quartet books? They are my favorite go to books. Light, fluffy, and puts a smile on your face

Are they by Roberts? I’m not sure! I’ll check them out, thanks.

Contemporary always helps. It’s not as complex and it’s mostly fun to read

I work in a library and when I’m stuck I ask a librarian. I also go outside the norm. Try a teen book or a romance (I hate typically hate romance novels, by when stuck anything to help me get unstuck.)

Reread a favourite book or something completely out of your favourite genre.

Oh! I also grab graphic novels too. I find they are great for in between when I can’t get motivated.
