“The Pogo Candidature,” a 1976 collection of Walt Kelly’s Pogo repackaged as part of the “Cartoons for New Children” series edited by Gary Trudeau. It’s an interesting series, collecting various comic strips into story form, focusing on social issues. Other books feature Gasoline Alley, Steve Canyon, Miss Peach, Tank McNamara and of course Doonesbury.
I got some from sales a cooking memoir about India, a cookbook, Creed by James Herbert, a book by Kent Haruf can’t recall title, entirely new novel I never heard of author Manpreet and lastly Julie and Julia. Yeah some cooking theme running through here. I like food!
