My Sister Keeper by Jodi Picoult or A Boy Called It by Dave Pelzer ?? both made me weep like a baby ??
None, my mum and sister (the only readers) like completely different books to me, so we never really like the same books and recommended ones never happen haha
My sister, @Kristy, is the original book nerd in our family. I always admired her zeal for reading but I never found anything I could get lost in the way she could. Then one day in my early 20’s, it just clicked and I found what made my bookish heart tick… so my sister has been a constant fountain of book recommendations. Jodi Picolt and Nicolas Sparks were my first book loves she sent my way. Then Harry Potter, (even though it was forbidden in our house when we were children) I will forever be grateful to my bookish nerd of a sister <3
