I love to reread, but struggle because there are so many great new releases out. I read some books a few times a year though, Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter and Watership Down. I also try and read the Xanth books every other year, as well as the Cat Who series.
I try not to reread unless I have a great desire to because a) I already know the plot and b) the time it takes me to read that book I could be reading a new one. Interesting to hear your opinion though x
Love it. I always buy books that I loved, so I can go back to them. Tho my fav series – Wheel of Time and Lord of the Rings, I’m saving for 2020, so I can forget many details and it’s like new read ?
Depends on the book…if I liked it, I will reread it…if I loved it, I will reread it more than once! (VA), if I hated/didn’t like a book, I can reread it, but maybe like in a few months ? or 1-2 years
That’s all I’ve been doing for the last year ?? I was waiting for a book blurb to really catch my interest and then had a sudden urge to reread all my favourites so that’s what I did!
I never would….so many books so little time yada yada but now I LOVE rereads. I am rereading the first 4 Throne of Glass books and I am finding out so much more that I either missed or didn’t remember. I am more in love with them now then I was the first time.
Yes to this question. I love revisiting my favourite books, characters and their world. I always pick up something new that I missed or didn’t pay much attention to.
I love it, I reread all the time, I’m currently rereading both the ToG series because I wasn’t ready to let it all go yet after finishing KoA, so I just started over, and I’m rereading The Name of the Wind 😀
I only re read before the newest one comes out. If it’s a completed series I won’t reread. I will listen to a book I love again, if I’ve only ever read it. It’s different listening so it’s still new to me if that makes sense
I do reread, to me it’s like revisiting an old friend and often you come across new bits ( especially in the Discworld books) my favourites are kind of foxed, badgered and beared by now
I figure there are so many millions of books in the world that deserve my love and attention… I only plan to re-read those that are my absolute favourites and that’s only to share them with my children while they are too young to read themselves. I want to gobble up as much bookish goodness as I possibly can (whilst still having a life outside of reading as well – balance) before my time is up in many many years to come ?
I do it. But not all the time. I reread only some novels and the only series I reread was Shatter Me like 3 or 4 years ago, and I’m planning to do it again before reading restore me. I also plan on rereading TID because it’s so fucking beautiful
If it’s a story I love I wait a few years and try to forget what it’s about so when I reread it it will be like reading it for the first time. Except for Harry Potter. I reread those almost every year.
Yeah no thanks. I can’t. I don’t have the motivation to do so. Maybe a few, favorite scenes, but the whole book? It just seems pointless to me, especially since you already know what’s going to happen UNLESS you have forgotten it.
Depends on the book. I have a few that I call my “mindless go-to” that i reread constantly when i want something before bed i dont have to focus on. I also listen to a lot of audiobooks so once in a while I find my mind has wandered too much and I need the paper to get the detaila. Currently it’s Caraval.
I love rereading books! It’s like re-watching a movie but better! And you never know what’ll stick out the next time you read a book so you learn more about the characters and stuff.
depends on the book and how long it’s been since I last read it. I reread Eragon 17 1/2 times over the course of a few years, and couldn’t pick it back up (after seeing the dumpster fire of a movie) until a week ago.
I reread certain ones a lot. Like LOTR and Chronicles of Narnia. But there are a few Novell series I’m going to re-read again because it’s been a few years.
I just reread a series for the third time. Now that I’m older my opinions have changed a little on certain things in the story. It’s fascinating to me how we grow and change and see things with fresh eyes.
I love rereading cause sometimes you find things in there before that you may have missed the first time around. Or you find the same jokes funnier. Or the same sad thing even sadder. I enjoy rereading, especially my favorite books.
I’m not really into it as much. Maybe if I haven’t read a book in a super long time (years) and I am starting to forget the story then yes I might go back and re read a book/series. Otherwise if it’s just for refreshers for the next coming book, I’ll look on wikia or something ?
I struggle rereading those because I already know them. I feel like between reading them once and watching the movies endlessly the bases are covered. But I do have grand ideas of doing so. Lol
I LOVE REREADING but only my favorites. If it’s only a part of a series in which I forgot what happened then I’ll just read a summary of it on the internet.
If it’s a favorite, I’ll definitely reread it. It’s like watching a movie even though you’ve already seen it a million times, but can’t bring yourself to change the channel.
?????? yes! Re reading a book is like going to visit a dear friend. One day alone is not enough with them. You need to commiserate and remember the good times in addition to making new friends.
I say the best books are the ones you can reread! My bf always asks me this, how can you reread a book?! Im tell him I spent $ on this book!! I better be able to reread it! What’s the point in buying a book if only to read it once??
Everytime a new book comes out in my favorite series. Book series that are finished I will wait at least a year or more before rereading. Each time I seem to make new connections.
I have certain books I reread each year, and then some books I will reread every so often. the books I do reread I cant reread since they are still packed up in boxes
I love to reread, but struggle because there are so many great new releases out. I read some books a few times a year though, Pride and Prejudice, Harry Potter and Watership Down. I also try and read the Xanth books every other year, as well as the Cat Who series.

I’m a definite re reader of my favourites 🙂
I never would….so many books so little time yada yada but now I LOVE rereads. I am rereading the first 4 Throne of Glass books and I am finding out so much more that I either missed or didn’t remember. I am more in love with them now then I was the first time.
I re read so many books 😛
Yes to this question. I love revisiting my favourite books, characters and their world. I always pick up something new that I missed or didn’t pay much attention to.
I don’t like rereading childhood faves I feel it takes away the magic.
I rarely do it, but if I do, the book is one of my everlasting favorites.
I don’t always have time for that but i love it!
I love it, I reread all the time, I’m currently rereading both the ToG series because I wasn’t ready to let it all go yet after finishing KoA, so I just started over, and I’m rereading The Name of the Wind 😀
Depends on the book. I’ve been able to reread throne of glass series heaps of times but that’s it
If it’s a book you enjoyed first time or want to reread to remember more details then yes! Why not?! ?
For me it depends on the book. I dont reread that often. And if I do it usually cant be that close to each other 🙂
I only re read before the newest one comes out. If it’s a completed series I won’t reread. I will listen to a book I love again, if I’ve only ever read it. It’s different listening so it’s still new to me if that makes sense
Always down to reread
I usually reread the series when a book comes out. I read so fast that i don’t always remember what goes on so I’m a huge re reader
I reread my fave books all the time 1 or 2 times per month esp everytime I’m dissatisfied with my new books. I was like this should be the feels
I do reread, to me it’s like revisiting an old friend and often you come across new bits ( especially in the Discworld books) my favourites are kind of foxed, badgered and beared by now

I just cant do it.. no matter how much i loved the book
If it’s a story I love I wait a few years and try to forget what it’s about so when I reread it it will be like reading it for the first time. Except for Harry Potter. I reread those almost every year.

I love rereading!
I reread books all the time.
I’ve read every single book I own at least twice & most most favourite anywhere between 10-20 tones so far hahaha ?. And I have like 380 books!
I love to reread! I crave a scene from a book and have to go back to it! If I know I wont reread it then I wont keep the book on my bookshelves
Omg I get like that, when I like just randomly think of a scene I have read the book ?
Yes!! The worst is when you wanna reread a scene but cant remember exactly which book it is! Lol
I love rereading books! It’s like re-watching a movie but better! And you never know what’ll stick out the next time you read a book so you learn more about the characters and stuff.
I’m rereading a series right now? But I only reread my absolute favorites. As a pre-teen and teen I read Anne of Green Gables every summer
No time to reread too many awesome books to get to
Only reread when I can’t remember anything and needed to read next book in a series
I love re reading books because some of the books that I have are really funny and I never get tired of them
depends on the book and how long it’s been since I last read it. I reread Eragon 17 1/2 times over the course of a few years, and couldn’t pick it back up (after seeing the dumpster fire of a movie) until a week ago.
If I love it?
I reread certain ones a lot. Like LOTR and Chronicles of Narnia. But there are a few Novell series I’m going to re-read again because it’s been a few years.
I don’t like to reread. I don’t even like to read a book if I’ve watched the movie even though I know the book will be better.
Depends on the book; it can get me back into loving reading.
I love to re-read my favorite series when I’m in a book slump.
I love it
I just reread a series for the third time. Now that I’m older my opinions have changed a little on certain things in the story. It’s fascinating to me how we grow and change and see things with fresh eyes.
I love re-reading my favorites! Or if I last book in a series comes out I like to re read the series before that final book! ❤️
I do it all the time
I love visiting with old friends.
I reread all the time but I usually skim “boring” parts that I know I don’t like and actually read the good parts
no time to reread, unless a recap is necessary
Yep love it. But needs to be after I forget some things. Unless if it’s Little Women then I just dive in.
I love rereading favourite books!!!
Love it! Do it all the time. It is no different then when someone watches a favourite movie more then once.
I do. Cause when a book is good, one time reading is not enough, never be enough maybe.??
I don’t tend to because I already know what happened and what to expect but I’m thinking about rereading “Matched” and the “Lunar Chronicals”
Love rereading HP series every winter. It became my ritual.
I struggle rereading those because I already know them. I feel like between reading them once and watching the movies endlessly the bases are covered. But I do have grand ideas of doing so. Lol
I don’t! I’m like there’s so much books and so little time!
You catch what u missed the first time reading
Love it
Love love love to read
I do it all the time! Especially when I’m in a reading slump or when I’m slightly stressed.
When I dont want to have to concentrate super hard. Lol
@Tina exactly!
I love to do it. It’s so fun
I LOVE REREADING but only my favorites. If it’s only a part of a series in which I forgot what happened then I’ll just read a summary of it on the internet.
I reread books like I drink coffee – in a constant stream. ?
All the time
depends. if it’s a mystery book I don’t see the point
Love it, I’m a chronic re reader, to the point where I’m bad at reading something new haha
I was thinking about rereading the ToG series.
I love it! <3 usually reread a series when a new book comes out!^^
I very rarely do, but that’s personal preference
I love it, you almost always find something you missed before no matter how many times you’ve read it.
I love it, it makes for an easy read when I need one 🙂
If it’s a favorite, I’ll definitely reread it. It’s like watching a movie even though you’ve already seen it a million times, but can’t bring yourself to change the channel.
?????? yes! Re reading a book is like going to visit a dear friend. One day alone is not enough with them. You need to commiserate and remember the good times in addition to making new friends.
@Elle I always debate rereading a favorite or trying something new. ?
@Michelle me too! When I’m in a slump I re read though. Gets me back in the mood to read again ?
I say the best books are the ones you can reread! My bf always asks me this, how can you reread a book?! Im tell him I spent $ on this book!! I better be able to reread it! What’s the point in buying a book if only to read it once??
I don’t typically do it because my TBR is over 1,000 books and constantly growing. I have reread and will occasionally but I’d rather find new worlds
If I’m super into it I will. I used to never. But I’m re reading once I read a long time ago. So I dont remmeber everything.
I wont reread a whole book, instead I like to reread my favorite parts from books
I love to reread books especially my favorites
Everytime a new book comes out in my favorite series. Book series that are finished I will wait at least a year or more before rereading. Each time I seem to make new connections.
I have certain books I reread each year, and then some books I will reread every so often. the books I do reread I cant reread since they are still packed up in boxes
If i love the series or book I will. Or if i need to refresh my memeory to finish a series I put off.
If i loved it! I like to give some books a chance with re-reads. Mostly just thrillers though. 🙂
Yup2!!
It’s like visiting an old friend. I love to re-read favorites.
Its awesomeness
