Depends on the friendship. A book I read in my teens called The Cay had a wonderful friendship between an older man and a boy who becomes blind when they are stranded on a deserted island.
Never let me go. It’s a bit dystopian but it has a strong fundamental element of friendship as the base of the story line
@Lorie I know others who didn’t like the series….but I was totally taken with it. Looking forward to passing on to a friend.
A list of cages, Perks of being a wallflower, Aristotle and Dante discover the secrets of the Universe
This one – very moving. 🙁 http://www.merseyside-at-war.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/strange-meeting.jpg
Chicken Soup for the soul is always good. They always have many different stories with each story having a different meaning.
