I read a ton of V.C. Andrews at that age. She had teen love storylines that were *mostly age appropriate.

You mean one which occurs in 2005 or one which involves children?

I just realised something. I hate love and children mixed together and I’m writing about it. Crazy.?

Maybe something like the Canterwood Crest series without the horses? The main characters are about 7th or 8th grade.

Actually, Romeo is thought to have been 18 or so. Possible early 20s.

Google a few but don’t copy storylines if you are thinking of writing one. Be original

Yeah Romeo and Juliet. Even they weren’t actually 13. That

Maybe a abusive boyfriend or a cute love story that includes conflict like moving away or a simple misunderstanding one that don’t confess his/her love cuz they don’t want to ruin the relationship they develop I think that can be a good story idea for a teen rated story hahaa

The struggle of going against the norm of being anti social to each other at school. Today’s kids are disconnected from each other bc of social media. A couple that goes against their peers and choose each other’s company. They actually talk face to face and enjoy just being around each other. I see this with my 13 yr old. He’s an athlete and always hung out with the guys, now he’s choosing to sit with a really sweet girl and spend more time with her. He takes heat for it. They don’t text much, they actually FaceTime and talk to each other. They are doing things old school compared to how all the other kids interact these days. I also have a 17 yr old son so this isn’t my first time to see this.

Boy meets girl. Stolen smiles. Sweaty handshakes. Too much teasing from friends. Boy freaks out & plays sports. Girl cries into a pillow & studies hard. The end.
