I am currently reading Wish by Barbara O’Connor, Beneath a Scarlet Sky, Abby’s Journey by Steena Holmes, and a Sue Grafton. I hope to finish one of them today. I probably won’t finish Beneath a Scarlet Sky, and I hope to finish the other two by the end of the week.
I need to finish two books I’m almost done with, and then I’m going to read Tower Of Dawn by Sarah J Maas which is longgggg over do! I usually read a SJM book as soon as it’s in my hands
I will finish a few that I have started, but will not be able to finish by the end of the day. D is for Deadbeat by Sue Grafton, Abby’s Journey by Steena Holmes, and Beneath a Scarlet Sky.
Either Field Of Prey or Gathering Prey by John Sandford. After 25 Prey novels, I can’t recall which was the last one I read. Maybe time for a book journal. ?
I’m almost halfway through The Book of Ebenezer Le Page and I’m hoping to finish it today. I’m thinking of starting off the new year with a biography but I haven’t decided which one yet.
I’m currently reading The Girl With No Name by Diney Costeloe .. it’s a historical fiction. It’s free with amazon prime. It’s actually pretty good. It will probably take me into the new year ?
Lawrence Hill’s “The Book of Negroes”. I’m only about thirty pages in, and it’s so eye opening these crude realities that are glossed over in school. I plan to watch the BET miniseries based on it when I finish.
Hard decision!!!! I have a stack in front of me, but totally undecided about which one will be my first pick. I have until midnight!!!! If I am still undecided at this time, I could benefit some advice by posting a picture.
I picked it up in sometime around 2015, felt so boring that I had to drop it. If you finish it would you kindly tell me whether I should finish it or let it be. Thanks! 🙂
This copy has been on my shelf for at least 15 years, have started it a couple of times only to be bored to sleep. I’m 80 pages in this time and it seems to be working better for me, not great but readable interesting. Not sure why but this seems to be one of those nagging ” I really should read” books for me.
Haha… There are some instances where I feel that Salinger is deliberately making the reader fall asleep… Like the part where the protagonist (I’ve completely forgotten his name) is in his dorm, alone and starting out the window… There’s a line in which he expresses that even he is bored! (Have you reached there yet?) Hey if you do make it through then would you text me whether it is worth a read.
Good question
Maybe the chalk man if I can get it
City of Ashes by Cassandra Clare
