@Heidi Me too! I cried so much. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever cried reading a book. This one got me.

Heidi

I am still thinking about that book today. Love books that sneak into my mind even after I’ve finished them.

0
Karin

@Heidi Yes. Same. I felt like I was living that story with the women. Ahhhh…good stuff.

@Kristin So twisty! My husband and I couldn’t stop listening to it! My best friend read it and told me i had to read it immediately so she had someone to talk to about it.

I hadn’t read anything by him before but I loved it! I ended up getting another by him (Abandon) which I’m looking forward to starting!

Kristie

Love all books by Blake Crouch…especially “Wayward Pines”!

1
Katie

@Kristie funny story as I’m reading Dark Matter I’m thinking to myself “this has a wayward pines feel to it ” then I realized it was the same author !! LOL I felt dumb .

1
Michelle

@Laurie thanks!

0
Andrea

@Laurie and I have had this conversation on here before… Dark Matter is a GREAT book to read/discuss with your hubby/significant other, too (as are the Wayward Pines books). Blake Crouch is one of those authors that is easily enjoyed by both men and women. And his stories are so out there that you MUST have someone to discuss them with!

3
Michelle

I’m intrigued, going to go add this to my TBR list

0
Laurie

@Andrea I will have to look into Wayward Pines. My husband has reading time on his commute now and it’s exciting to share books with him. And our boys are old enough for some, too.

2
Andrea

@Laurie my 13 y.o. son has read the Wayward Pines trilogy (along with the hubs and me) – he loved it!

1
Laurie

@Andrea Cool! We have a family book club. We’re reading Circe now. Maybe Wayward Pines next. ?

@Brenna funny…I had it figured out early on…

0
Brenna

@Vanessa really? I guess I’m just gullible lol.

0
Vanessa

@Brenna nah. The more I think about it the more I think it had to do more with the fact that I have experience working with domestic violence victims.

0
Brenna

@Vanessa oh yeah, that could definitely be it! Lol I have experience with domestic violence personally but it didn’t really relate to the domestic violence in the book. I just finished The Wife Between Us and totally related to that one though ?
