Michelle if you haven’t read this as yet (Downfall) read the novelette ‘Random Acts’ first. I have a paperback of Downfall and Random Acts is included at the end. I say read it first because the time line puts it immediately before Downfall.

Personally I enjoy the J. P. Beaumont series better.

Middlesex by Jeffery Eugenides
Still struggling through it! Normally a 500+ page book doesn’t take me long but this is so back and forth that I have found myself having to read things over! I feel there are many unnecessary details!! The plot piqued my interest but it has taken almost 150 pages to get to the actual story ?

The Girl in 6E by A.R Torre. Probably wouldn’t recommend rushing out and buying it, glad I borrowed my copy from the library! It is a fast paced read though but the content was a bit disturbing and quite detailed. So if you can handle all that, go for it! This is part of a trilogy but didn’t really care much for the main character to be honest so won’t be in a hurry to pick the next two up if I pick them up at all! ?????

“Seeds of Foreverland” by Tony Bertauski. I didn’t hate it, but don’t see any reason to recommend it either. Describes itself as a scifi thriller. Misses on the thriller part (very slow paced – or maybe my understanding is wrong). Some scifi, but nothing heavy or terribly overt. Had a strong (if somewhat creepy) opening chapter. Failed to sustain that. Ended a bit too abruptly for my tastes. Currently reading “The 100 Year Old Man Who Climbed Out of a Window and Disappeared” by Jonas Jonasson
