See You by Nicholas Sparks. I didn’t finish it, stopped around page 100.

It definitely wasn’t one of his best, but I still enjoyed it enough.

A Reliable Wife by Robert Goolrick. I’ll never forget how much I despise that book. Lol

The Embrace series by Charlotte Blackwell… I know that all authors are inspired by something and sometimes that shows through in their work, and normally if someone told me a series was like a mix of Charmed, Twilight, and True Blood, I’d be all over it…but the similarities were so distinct and complete that it made it seem like a rip off rather than inspiration. There was also a difficulty in reading it because the author didn’t use contractions, like, ever. So a lot of sentences would contain would not, did not, have not, is not, and such. That being said, I gave most of the series 3 stars because I felt that the IDEA was there, if that makes sense. And honestly 3 stars is a pretty low rating for me, I’m a 4 or 5 star person unless I just could not get into it at all. The final book in the series redeemed itself for me because it was the reason I started the series, it was a tie in with another series I had read and LOVED by Mary Ting (Crossroads.)

Have you read Gray yet? I have it, but there are books on my TBR pile that come before that. Did you like it? I have all of the others as well.

No, I haven’t read it, not sure I’d have the stomach for any more of them, Lol!! I kept reading the others THINKING I needed to know what happened to Christian…they were just so dumb, to ME!! But, I know lots of people really loved them.

That’s what Gray is. It tells his story from his POV. It sounded better than the original trilogy so I thought “Why not”?. I’ve definitely read worse but obviously I’ve read better LOL Thank you!

My thing mostly with all 3 of the 50 Shades was nobody has sex that darn much! Lol, I don’t care how much you love someone or are attracted to them, no one has that much sex..every time one of them sneezed they were ripping their clothes off, lol!!

LOL Exactly.

And then after all you go through getting to the end of the trilogy it just kind of ended with a “poot”…

Probably “Open Road Summer”. It was like a Taylor Swift fanfic?
