Empire of the Summer Moon by S. C. Gwynne (nonfiction)
Atomic Accidents by James Mahaffey (nonfiction)
The Glass Castle (autobiographical)
Hyperion by Dan Simmons (Old sci-fi)
East of Eden by John Steinbeck (novel)

These books sound sort of heady but I also reread the Harry Potter series.

The Far Pavillions is one of my favorite novels. I’ve literally worn a copy out and had to look for another HB copy to replace it.

@Rob What I really liked about the novel is that it tried to give an unbiased and balanced view of Indian society and Anglo-Indian relations.

I loved Billy Lynn. Read it a few years ago, great book.

@Tim It presented an accurate portrayal of the disconnect between the war and the troops in the field and the perception of the war at home.

I re-read The Chosen by Chaim Potok, and The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan. Both are excellent books, but I absolutely love high fantasy books the most!
