Been trying to find a new good one, after working through Kimmy Schmidt. I like Black Mirror a lot but need a sitcom to watch after or I literally have bad dreams.
Just got The Prisoner on DVD, I’ve seen a lot of it but never sat through the whole series. Also George Reeves’ Superman, which I just find so cute.
I don’t watch in real time but I do record The Resident, The Good Doctor, 911, The Big Bang Theory, Blue Bloods and select shows on Animal Planet and NatGeo.

@Stefanie Yes, I finished the second season of Mrs. Maisel as well. I especially enjoyed the “Break the Fast” scene when Midge (Miriam) announces her career doing standup. It is such well-written scene with pitch-perfect dialogue and stellar tension and pacing. Yes, I enjoyed it, but I’ve also learned from it. The scene, in some ways, reminds me of the dinner scene in James Joyce’s story The Dead, from Dubliners. The tone and mood are of course different, but from a craft perspective both scenes are textbook examples on how to manage (and keep control of) scenes with a lot of characters.

It’s a British show about people who use metal detectors to look for buried treasure. It’s a wacky premise, and the comedy can be a bit on the goofy side, so I’m not sure I would have watched it except for the recommendation from someone else. This is even though I like British shows.
