A book that will alter me. Either through education, pain, happiness, or transference. I need to be different at the end- even if it is only by a breath
I love that!!! I told myself that I was gonna fill my mind, and soul up with information that will make me a better person! I even started my own personal development book club group!
Classics, suspence thrillers, mysteries, true crime, historical fiction, inspirational, romance and some erotica books like fifty shades trilogy ???♀️? and some psychology books.
I”m really into bios and auto bios right now. But actually, I like just about every genre, except romance, fantasy, and sci-fi. I like travel tales as well.
This year I made a commitment to myself to read at least one personal development book a month every month. And in between that I either read Star Wars Expanded Universe novels, or inspirational fiction like The Alchemist! ?
Horror, Thriller, Historical Fiction, Science Fiction, Science Fantasy, Dark Romance, Psychological Thriller, Suspense, Action, Adventure, Vampire Fiction, Gothic Romance, Gothic Horror, YA Fiction and the list goes on
Fiction: fantasy as long as it’s not paranormal romance, thrillers and mysteries but not the new Girl on the train type, east meets West novels, witty novels, supernatural horror but nothing too gross or lurid, something with some thought behind it. Historical novels. No longer a fan of romances or cozies. Non fiction: memoirs, biographies, history. Some old school stuff written decades ago, if quirky enough.
I like everything! From history books to fantasy.. from true crime to si/fi and everything in between if it catches my attention.. I’ll read it. That’s a good thing if your a library raider ?.
Horror!! Thriller, crime, some sci-fi, and more rarely ( not sure of genre , drama / courtroom??) Jodi picoult type books but normally something to get my heart racing a little
All kind of books
