Coldest Girl in Coldtown by Holly Black. I loved that in a modern text and dystopian setting, they weren’t romanticized, but rather remained the monsters – that you still found a way to love.

I’m not into vampire books, but I just read Dracula this year and was surprised by how much I liked it.
The movie is very good too, the one with Gary Oldman, Keanu Reeves and Winona Ryder ☺️

The books that got me to love vampires are YA novels; The Last Vampire by Christopher Pike and The Night World Series by LJ Smith. Sita in the Last Vampire is such a badass and The Night World does really cool mythology on vampires
