What is your opinion on Love in the Time of Cholera? What is your opinion on Love in the Time of Cholera? Mercedes #review
cant get past the first 50 pages. dont know why its so confusing for me it jumps from one topic to another.
@Stephanie ♡ ur feed back… I am just like you.. if I m 50 pages in and it doesn’t call out to me… then I simply go in another direction. ?
@Mercedes now I’m afraid. You have to like it! Also I saw the movie. And it was so so so bad. #bookalwayswins
I loved the book. I must be in the very small minority for liking Love in the Times of Cholera better than One Hundred Years of Solitude
Loved it when I read it years ago. I struggled a bit through both books of his that I read, but I thought they were beautiful as well…
Loved it. Read it after ‘One Hundred years of Solitude’ which I also loved. Don’t worry if you didn’t. People have different tastes. I didn’t like ‘A Gentleman in Moscow.’
I made myself read it. About halfway through I dropped it then couldn’t find where I’d left off, told myself it was ok to dump it and moved on.
I loved it … in fact wish I still had it to read … you can’t read a book for the first time twice …. xxx
There’s always something you missed the first time. I find I understand some characters better on the second read.
@Barbara thank you .. I may well give it another read … you are right … so much can be missed first time around … and not just in books ….. xxxx
I simply loved reading it! Heart wrenching love story, I was transported into a different era and gained another perspective on love….?
