Yikes, I hope mine doesn’t last that long! Had one since the end of April. I read half-a-book in May! Half! This reading slump is madness.

Mine would have been quite a few years when the three kids were little and there was just no quiet time unless they were asleep and then I was asleep too ?

About a month or so during my first trimester of pregnancy. Everything made me nauseous including reading, unfortunately.

I didn’t know reading could make someone nauseous. The human body is weird.

Maybe a few days? Even that would be pushing it. I can’t remember the last time I didn’t read before falling asleep.

You mean not reading at all? Two weeks maybe, not including course literature or newspapers.

no more than a week, though you’d think with having kids, especially the first I’d have problems…no, usually when I nursed I read or if I could not sleep I’d read…sometimes after waking up and taking care of the baby I’d stay up…weird because with the others (4 in all) I was like drugged LOL…so tired.

I think birth to age 4. And once I was dragged on a week-long visit to a house where there WERE NO BOOKS, ex the one I’d brought for the car ride. And one my mom bought for me at K-Mart.
