What is your favourite YA thriller/mystery? I find it difficult to read one and actually be surprised by the plot twist in the end.

@Sarah Thanks! I have that one added on Goodreads. I’m looking for YA specifically.

I would consider these more suspense novels rather than thriller/mystery but you should give em a try if you haven’t already!
Verity – Colleen Hoover
The Couple Next Door
The Wife Between Us
You
The Woman In Cabin 10

@Brandi I’m looking specifically for YA but I definitely want to read The Wife Between Us soon! I read You a few years ago and liked it ?

Dangerous Lies and Black Ice by Becca Fitzpatrick. They are both YA suspense thrillers.

There’s Someone Inside Your House by Stephanie Perkins was actually pretty good.

@Amanda I almost read it this year but it’s been getting such bad reviews. I’ll have to give it a try!

@Sarah I enjoyed it. I liked that it kept me guessing on who was behind the murders until they finally showed who it was. I did feel that towards the very end that it did lose a little of the spark it had but nothing to make me stop reading it.

I Hunt Killers by Barry Lyga, it’s about the son of a serial killer hunting serial killers. 😀

Beautiful Malice by Rebecca James which is definitely YA, it’s also based in Australia where I live which is an added bonus. That and The Nowhere Child, also (partially) based in Australia but did NOT have a predictable plot at all, highly recommend!
