Must try Dying for Christmas. Behind Her Eyes, is a controversial one. So many mixed reviews. I thought it was brilliantly written.

I do love a book that does that ! . Like you I thought its really well written . Also try Tammy Cohen book , When She Was Bad , also killer twist and a brilliant read .xx

Oh and of course who can forget the brilliance that is Gone Girl !. xx

Gone Girl is my favourite modern novel. It’s so good it’s underrated. The naysayers are only seeking solace in being different. It’s a modern classic.

Loved the twist in Behind Her Eyes.

@Michael Psycho by Robert Bloch. Terrific twist ending. Oh, and there’s Black Rock Bay by yours truly. I defy any reader to work out who the serial killer is 🙂

I See You – the ending. Never saw that coming!

I Let You Go was excellent because it made sense, but it made you question yourself once you realised what had happened. Gone Girl was really good too, but I did suspect it. Before I go to Sleep was really good as well.

The one in Atonement by Ian McEwan. I threw the book across the room in outrage!

Oliver Tidy’s Cold Kills – Like the audience at the end of The Mousetrap, Oliver asks the readers not to divulge the final twist.

Original Sin and the return of Tobias Vaughan. Pity the audio adaption doesn’t clearly establish it as him

Atonement & My Sister’s Keeper.

Not a crime novel but I thought the plot twist half way through “Sophie’s World” by Jostein Gaarder was mind blowing, it messed with my head for ages.

Modern books: Death in profile by Guy Fraser Sampson and Revenge of the Malakim by @Paul. But my all time favorite is The murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie!

Definitely Between you and me by Lisa Hall. I was also taken aback by a twist in The Honeymoon by Tina Seskis

I really don’t want to ruin it so I will be very vague and say a book by @Jim coming out sometime in the future, it was such a massive twist as I didn’t see it coming at all and had no warning about it.

To be honest, all his stories have a twist, the best being Lost Connections. It made me smile with delight.

Yeah that is a very good point, I think this one stood out as it was so out there lol
