Book Vs movie thoughts?

0
Jeff

I thought it was a brilliant film adaptation. Having a novel that’s about 95% inner monologue definitely presents a challenge when turning it into a narrative feature, and I felt Luca Guadagnino and James Ivory did a fantastic job of fleshing out the other characters.

0
Ariel

@Jeff Good to know! I found the movie intriguing and beautiful but I worried about how much of the story was getting “lost in translation”

0
Jeff

@Ariel there is actually so much more the movie wasn’t able to include that really enriches the narrative
