Hmm, my serious jump in was the DragonLance Chronicles trilogy by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman. Second runner up is the Arrow trilogy in the Valdemar series by Mercedes Lackey. What about yourself?
@Amanda lol I just started reading fantasy this year and my first is the Remnant Chronicles series.. I just fell inlove.. It’s very different from my usual contemporary books of course ?
I don’t think they are YA but the first books I can remember reading are The Magic faraway Tree and anything by Emily rodda (I put off reading Harry Potter for years just because my mum recommended it to me, I didn’t think she understood what I liked!! Guess I was wrong! ? I really should stop doubting her whenever she recommends a book to me, loved all of them so far)
The Touchstone Trilogy – Andrea K Höst. My absolute favourite. I have re-read soo many times. Hardly anyone I know has heard of these books but they are so amazing, it’s sad, but they mean so much to me.
