Read his “Down Under” book whilst in Australia and did recommend it to my Australian cousin….all you could hear was her laughing most of the way through. He is an excellent writer.
@Karen I took me five nights to read the first time ( my daughter was a few months old back then). It’s one of my all-time favourites, and has even helped with my own novels because it made me research a few things.
“What came before he shot her” Elizabeth George. Part of the inspector Lynley series but you don’t have to have read any of the others. The characters are brilliantly written and the story stayed with me for ages after.
Well, if you’re up for sex, violence, mind games, sibling rivalry, soul questioning and questing, not to mention apocalyptic tales, ghosts, the supernatural, incest and generally questionable activities – The Bible’s a pretty good bet.
