That she didn’t tell him. I’m like, COME ON.

I can not stand that her parents don’t realize how big Monstrous Sea is. Also, Eliza, pleeeeease just tell Wallace!

I agree. Yet…I get it. She was private about it. I keep my writing private so I get it when my husband doesn’t understand the importance of it. It’s partly my fault.

It drove me nuts that they didn’t make more of an effort and it also drove me nuts that when they did try she shut them out.

I wish she’d found a way to tell him early on, preferably after his email would have been the perfect time. He opens up his deepest secret to her. (Not saying what that is in case people haven’t read that far yet

I don’t like the way she snaps at her parents. Maybe because I lost my mom and a young age and my dad was around but we grew apart after she passed so I’ve never had a chance to experience the “modern day family” and she just takes hers for granted even after she learns more about Wallace parents she still Doesn’t appreciate her parents more

She keeps how big this is a secret from her parents. And she hasn’t told Wallace and she hasn’t told her friends about Wallace. I feel like it could really blow up. She’s keeping a lot of secrets
