Definitely the Red Rising series by Pierce Brown. Technically it is supposed to be made into a movie and it’s had a director for a couple years, but that’s all so far.

The Alex Delaware books by Jonathan Kellerman and more of Jeffrey Deaver’s Lincoln Rhyme books – as far as I know only The Bone Collector made it to the big screen.

Honestly nothing. Not to be negative but Hollywood chooses name celebrities and social justice over staying true to source material.

Clan of the cave Bear as a (very long) series or I am Legend the way Richard Matheson actually wrote it. The film was great but so far from the actual book it shouldn’t really have been called by that name. Or maybe Eva by Peter Dickenson.

I would love Clan of the cave bear too there was a film out with Daryl Hannah as Ayla which wasn’t bad but not the rest of the series ?

1
Terence

I saw the film, it wasn’t too bad. If they did them Peter Jackson would need to direct them.

Fitz and the fool books, Robin Hobb. The live ship and the dragon traders books fall in between those as well so your could do them with it. I would love to see Raymond E Feist books in live action but there are lots of them!

Might seem bizarre but These Old Shades by Georgette Heyer! Not normally my genre but my sister and I have read all her Regency novels over and over again. Predictable ending always but light hearted easy reading. Would love to see the characters come to life

Penryn And The End Of Days trilogy by Susan Ee, Wicked Lovely series by Melissa Marr, Wolves Of Mercy Falls series by Maggie Stiefvater, Ben Hope series by Scott Mariani, Chaos Walking trilogy by Patrick Ness, The Gatekeepers series by Anthony Horowitz. Would love to say Black Dagger Brotherhood, Lords Of The Underworld, Dark Hunter, Dark Carpathian, Ghostwalkers, Psy-Changling, Guild Hunter but those are probably a little too racy to be made lol

Elvis Cole and Joe Pike books but I know they’d be crap and so does the author which is why he refuses to let them! I was so excited when I heard they were making Agatha Raisin and then gutted as they made her blonde instead of dark as it’s such an easy thing to do!

Body and Soul, by Ryan Guth. From the publisher’s page for the book: “When the deaths of her ex-convict father and pedophile grandfather trigger a flood of repressed sex-abuse memories from her childhood, divorcee Cassandra Hart descends into alcoholism and destructive sexual relationships, until repeated DUI convictions finally land her in a court-ordered treatment facility. There she begins – reluctantly at first – the hard work of physical and psychological recovery. As she learns to trust her own spiritual inclinations and her capacity for self-reinvention, she is ultimately able to reclaim her life and achieve a long-delayed moral victory over her abusers. Within this narrative framework of verse, prose, and other hybrid forms, author Ryan Guth has interspersed other lyrics exploring the quintessentially southwestern mix of Hispanic, Anglo and Pueblo lore which informs Cassandra’s personal theology and sense of self.”
