Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson, a non-fiction book about capital punishment and defending the poor and wrongly condemned.
That sounds pretty intense.

Goodreads says it’s #1 in the series but I don’t see any other books listed. Maybe she meant for it to be and it didn’t pan out. All I know is that it looks SO good!!

I’m reluctantly finishing crooked kingdom right now. I don’t want it to end. After that I’m gonna continue the winners curse.
Crooked Kingdom was the definition of a perfect book.
I just finished it. I had 6 pages left. I was holding on like I had 300 pages left. Lol. I am not satisfied with the ending. Like I wanted Kaz and Inej to kiss, hug, grope each other, something! I mean holding hands was a big step for Kaz and he got her a boat and her parents, but I want more!!!
I feel like maybe she’ll write another series set in that world. I hope.
I’m hoping for a novella or something. It can’t just end like that.
