Code name Verity & the sequel Rose under fire are both really good, harrowing.

That list is waaay too long for me! I am currently catching up on series that I’m late to the party for LOL. Reading Red Queen now. Then I have The Selection series, Legend series, Shiver, Shatter me and Young Elites all waiting in the wings 🙂

War & Peace, Moby Dick, finish The Lunar Chronicles (I’ve read the first and waited a month for what I thought was the second book, it was the third), The Handmaid’s Tale, finish ToG (only read book 1), the Mortal Instruments series, and everything else I’ve purchased recently. ?

I really liked Moby Dick; partially because I read it in a class.

Any Sarah j Maas book, Shatter Me (I bought that book 4 years ago…) the rest of the Peculiar Children books (I’ve only read the first), LET THE WIND RISE- OMG why haven’t I read that book yet lol-, and I fiiiiinally started reading the Chronicles of Vladimir Tod this week after having the books for… 5 years? Lol.

I need to read the other Peculiar Children books too ? Shatter Me was a massive disappointment imho. Lots of people love it though.

I’ll have to give it a shot, eventually.

My husband has read the sequels to Peculiar children, but I just can’t seem to find the time…

Oh and another final book I have not deigned to read yet – Frost Like Night. I loved the first two! I just can’t seem to make time for the final book lol

The sequels to Oryx and Crake; the sequels to Regeneration; the sequels to Miss Peregrin’s Home for Peculiar Children; Wuthering Heights; A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man; The Time Traveler’s Wife; Life of Pi; the Sookie Stackhouse books…. ??

But I’m finally reading Jane Eyre!

Wuthering Heights isn’t good, in my opinion. It’s really depressing. Jane Eyre was a LOT better!

Beth

Yeah, I know the story and I don’t like it; but I would like to say I’ve read it ?

1
Jennifer

I’m the same like Jane Eyre & dislike Wuthering Heights. Really enjoyed Anne Brontes Tenant of Wildfell Hall.

Jennifer

I’ve read a lot of Atwood including the MaddAddam trilogy.

Sookie Stackhouse books are great! I read the first 11 or so. I don’t think I will finish the series, though. They just weren’t as good at the end.

Game of thrones ? .I’m just not ready for that kind of commitment ? .I keep reading the first chapter then stopping to read something else.
