I just finished Americanah and it was pretty perfect. Clever. Thought provoking. Sensual. Romantic.
I’ve read so many wonderful books this summer. Though not my favorite, a very good book was The Summer I Met Jack. It is also historical fiction and well written. Hamilton was fantastic!

@Kimberly one of the most disturbing books I’ve ever read.
@Lloyd I’m about mid way through and completely appalled and disgusted. And to think this is all true. Yep, very disturbing.
@Kimberly when you think it can’t get worse it does. More disturbing with every turn of the page.
@Lloyd even more disturbing is the recent news of the playwrite, who wrote about Sergei Magnitsky, being found dead 6 weeks after her director husband was found dead.
Yikes! A modern day Stalin is in office over there.
