Well, I’ve traditionally thought of Star Wars when it comes to space operas. I’ll have to think about other series.

Comic book-wise, my love for “Black Science” has no boundaries.
Dune and the Foundation series come to mind for books. Movie would be Star Wars. Nothing came to mind in comics though. Hmmm, maybe I need suggestions ?

Ohhhh, my favorite!!! Right now, I’m reading M. R. Forbes, an excellent scifi writer. The Hal Spacejock series is awesome. I just read a 10 book series, Universe in Flames by Christian Kallias which was incredible – book 5 takes place over 1 day & you don’t even notice! Earthrise by Daniel Arenson. Anything by Jay Allen.
One book that comes to mind is Starship Troopers by Robert A. Heinlein!
