What does this have to do with books?

None. It’s not worth it; there are far better things to make sacrifices for.

Sure, if that floats your boat.
Or freedom; or equality; or justice; truth; making yourself a better person, knowledge…

Not book related, but since it is posted I’d say don’t make any sacrifices.

Depends on the sacrifice, never your health, sanity or family. But if you’re saying you have to sacrifice an expensive car you want for a less expensive one or let’s say sacrifice eating corn instead on green beans with dinner for love… do it if it’s true love.

A lot of books explore that concept. Name a character or book that you enjoyed that has it

I believe in love! If its true love you Don’t think of it as sacrifice. But someone who wants you to give up your essence and who you are doesn’t love you. My husband is polar opposite as me. We love our differences.

I see a cat in your picture. So I must disagree with you. Anybody who has one can’t be dead inside! Selfish is not always a bad thing.
