I really enjoyed it. It was a hard read sometimes, so incredibly sad in places but very much worth the effort. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I found the descriptions of living off the grid in Alaska interesting, but the story itself was a little weak.

I am one of the few who did not love it. The Alaskan setting is great, and I love her writing style. The story was just filled with so many horrible events that it seemed extremely unbelievable and quite depressing after a while.

I didn’t care for it, either.
Didn’t like the writing and when that happens I’m in a world of hurt.

Didn’t love it. Kept shifting storylines/direction too much. Definitely made me want to see Alaska though

It’s ok. The best part is the details of surviving in Alaska. I hated the romance and the violence.

It was good.
The first bit dragged a little and the ending seemed very rushed to me.
Not her best, But still a good read.

It was a cruise without water. I feel like I visited Alaska, the descriptions were so beautiful, rich with imagery. The start was slow for me too. I had to stop and recall the incidents sparked by her frequent mention of song titles from my college days. I would sing the lyrics through and drift down memory memory lane awhile. Truly a compelling story for me and and worth sticking with.

It’s very difficult to read at times. 🙁 But, it’s extremely well written and a good novel.

❤️?Loved it. Well worth the read. I agree as with a comment above. I truly felt like I was in Alaska at times. Her descriptions I found were not long and drawn out. Just enough to get her point across and paint an image.
