I liked the enemy series by Charlie Higson. It’s a slightly different twist on traditional zombie books but it was an entertaining series

You now have me hunting back through my GR list to see what else I would recommend… The Newsflesh series… Dead World series by Joe McKinney… If you want something kind of goofy and way out there, the Zombie Fallout series by Mark Tufo.

Once a zombie always a zombie.

But but but they found the “cure”… sort of. The prequel is out. I’m curious about it, but don’t know if I’ll read it.

Lol…me and my kids are huge zombies loving/killing Family. Some say I’m obsessed. Lol. You’ll have to tell me how that goes once you read it.

1
Melissa

I love zombies, but I haven’t read many stories. The Walking Dead was one of my favorite shows, but I’m so bored with it now.

1
LaurieQuestion author

I haven’t read many zombie books either. Not very good reviews out there on the books. My favorite zombie book right now is As the World Dies trilogy.

Buying these!!!

Heather

enjoy enjoy ???

1
Angel

I didn’t bother with the last in the News Flesh series because I saw it wasn’t about the main characters. Did you read it?

2
Heather

I started it, but stopped reading it for now. I’ll go back to it later. It’s very similar to the first book, it’s just the perspective of bloggers working for the democrat who is running for president against Senator Ryman. So it didn’t excite me as much. But I really enjoyed her newest book Final Girls. It’s really a novella ?

2
Angel

I wasn’t even sure what it was about…just that it wasn’t the same characters so I passed.

1
Heather

The new characters are interesting and very diverse and different then the original crew, but it just felt so reminiscent of the first book it bored me. The only book or novella of hers that ever has…. It felt like I read it before, but I’ll see where she goes with it and if there’s a fifth perhaps I will revisit it. ?
