He doesn’t write them. He outlines a plot and a crew of writers ghost then for him.

This! Most James Patterson books are not written by James Patterson. It’s just a book factory he slaps his name on to up the sales. (Rant over ???)

His earlier books that he wrote himself, but those he collaborated on with other authors are total crap. Have gone right off him because of this!!

His name…..written by someone else. Don’t care for his latest “partner”….and won’t buy his books again. I, actually, have about 30 of them I’m getting rid of….

I loved his Maximum Ride series!!! But I now read his book far and few between paranormal romances. He’s ok. I like him better then Stephan King

His first two books were great, and popular, which is why, like Lee Child, nothing much came later.

I resent the ploy of using his famous name to churn out books written by someone else. Good, established authors are not going to adapt a policy of co-writing. His books were OK for a while, Women’s Murder Club and the first Alex Cross books, but the writing quality declined to the point that the first co-authored book was really bad.
