I google for new books! I’ve found so many books I love that way 🙂 try finding “best of 2017 YA” or whatever it is you like!
I go to the library and look for a book I like the look of x
I go through my list. And pick from what sounds good. Last night I finished a almost 600 page book and decided I need something lighter.
I always research books between reading books then I know what I wanna read… I have a list of too reads on my good reads app. So worse case scenario I just pick one. ?
I then pick up a random book to enjoy it.
My TBR list is huge and growing lol but I totally judge a book by its cover lol if I’m at the library and a cover piques my interest I’m most likely to grab it lol

I have what I call “the jar of indecision” I write down maybe fifteen books on my unread shelf, separate them from the rest of the unread shelf and whenever I can’t decide what to read that’s what I pick from
It is usually hard…. look for your favourites and re-read them or look for books that are out of your usual genre??
Put some books in jar from your TBR list and pick one!

I do the jar thing but mine are not color coded… But my jar is missing books in series that are not next in line

Sometimes I give myself a break, but if I feel like I’m slipping into a slump I have my husband pick something off my shelves for me at random. It has mixed results.
i’ll usually just bookmark the page and put the book to the side until one day I go “I wanna continue this again.” If I can’t figure out what book to read in between then, I’ll just give myself a break until I find something that sparks my interest
Choose 5 or more books, read the first chapter of each, and the one that interests me most is my next read.

Look over the shelves full of so far unloved and unread books and decide I don’t want to read any of them. Look at library offerings and decide nothing appeals. Order a new book or two or three and wait for them to arrive possibly reading one of those other unloved books or something I have already read while I wait, lol.

Pick a few from my tbr stack that are probably a different genre from what I just finished, to some extent, then check them out on Goodreads and go from there.
If I’m reading on my e-reader I go to my full library, close my eyes, scroll it back and forth several times and then put my finger on the screen and open my eyes. Whatever it’s on, I read. (Or start at the beginning of the series if applicable)
I take few books which I want to read next and start reading the first chapter. Which ever catches me I continue with…..?

I have a TBR shelf in my bedroom, the rest of my shelves are in a different room. I try to pick from those first, although if I have something particular in mind I’ll get it from the library.
This is me now! My heart is still aching from the last book I read? I searched online yesterday for fan fiction! And I’ve already started two books today and can’t decide which one to continue.
