‘at ALL?’ As a bit of a literalist my first thought was “You die.”
Fatal familial insomnia (FFI) is an extremely rare autosomal dominant inherited prion disease of the brain. Death usually occurs between seven and thirty-six months from onset.
OK, I’m beating myself over the head with a frying pan. Sorry.

Depends on why I can’t sleep… But I have an arsenal full of things like: Hot cocoa, any number of teas like valerian or chamomile, the obvious read, warm bath, watch something, knit, any number of little craft cleaning or repair projects… Lately my brain’s game has been to make me REALLY tired, I mean yawning eyes watering can’t barely hold my head up tired, then as soon as I hit the pillow it decides to start talking at me. I’m pretty sure it’s trying to drive me insane…

and it is SO NOT FAIR either Ms Moore… used to be you could at least count on physical exhaustion to do the trick. Didn’t matter what was wrong I could always manage to work myself to the point of death and at least get a few hours of passable if not completely restful sleep. Now, I could work myself beyond death and still be wide awake as soon as I hit the pillow.

Ah…sometimes I feel I’m cursed. ???. I can’t sleep for hours. I write all night then I lay down trying to sleep holding a book in hand. Then when I don’t feel like reading it anymore I start reading a comic book. Then when I end I start reading eBook. And if I still can’t sleep I read a short story. ?
