Normally if I re-read a book I know I love, it will help me get out of it.

I agree, @Kira. My go to authors are Nora Roberts and Nicholas Sparks. They are quick reads that I know I’ll enjoy.

I’ll try something completely out of the ordinary for me. That usually works, but if it doesn’t, Nora Roberts gets the job done for the same reason as @Kayleigh. I know I’m going to enjoy her work, even if I’ve read it before.
