Nothing. I literally don’t hear or see anything outside the words. My fiancé puts a hand over my eyes or physically touches me, even if it’s just tossing something at me to register, if he needs something.

Noise, people talking, even music. I need quiet for my mind to escape 🙂 Sometimes I can read in distraction area, like an airport, if I’m in the middle of the story, and know what is going on etc.

When people try to have a conversation with me. I can literally read through ANYTHING but that. It’s because my parents taught me not to be rude when I’m spoken to; ? so I try to respond but shut it down real quick and get back to my book. ????

I just can’t watch tv and read. Or, at least, I don’t like to. If John’s watching something, he knows to turn it down, watch on his ipad w/earphones, or go to another room. I’ve trained him well!!?
