As for receiving, I’m not actually asking for any as I’ve already got 150+ to be read…

I managed to get my sister a signed first edition of The Book Thief. As for my own books there’s too many to name. I usually trust people to get me something I’ll enjoy. I almost always end up with a Stephen King book.

I’m giving a college aged reader Fitzgerald’s Tender is the Night.

@Don I thought this was a good book. For a college aged reader I would also recommend This Side of Paradise. Read both this year, and thought Tender Is the Night was better than The Great Gatsby.

@Matt I’ve thought Tender is the Night was better than Gatsby for 40 years or more now.

I’m not gifting any, but I’ll be giving a friend’s daughter Harry Potter stuff she requested. I don’t need anymore books… but I won’t complain if I get some!

I’m not sure if I’m giving any personally, except some nostalgic Jennings books to my sister (we both read them when we were kids), but I’m hoping to receive, or buy for myself, this one…

Good read. Especially appreciated the rise in tension.

I don’t buy books for people unless i know specifically that they want to read it. I hate when people buy me books. More often than not I think they randomly pick any book thinking I love books so any book will do. But I will give a gift card for a book store so they can pick their own.

I always ask for a new cookbook at Christmas. Fave treat Christmas afternoon, new cookbook, box of chocs and a glass of wine. Heaven!

Sadly, a lot of the people in my life do not read. I hope to receive the illustrated edition of fantastic beasts and where to find them and Northern Lights!

I recently found a ton of goosebumps books at the thrift store that my boys don’t have, also Quidditch Through the Ages, and a super hero daily devotional. All for my boys.
