These aren’t something I’ve tried. I had some on cassette years ago, mostly Colin Dexter ‘s Inspector Morse. I did try audible once but it wouldn’t work on my device at the time.
Mostly Charles Dickens, but I have To Kill A Mockingbird, and Homer’s great books, I read the books but sometimes I like other people to read them to me, even though I’m about 40 years old.
Same her Sherron, I’m not a fan of the radio when I’m driving and sometimes I get whopping bad headaches so listening to an audio softly is helpful ๐
I have listened to every book on audio and she does them all. I think I’m just used to her after 60+ hours ?? but I have recorded a few messups she’s done that make me laugh!!
Liked a lot the mistborn trilogy xD I’m listening/”rereading” the Graphic audiobook of The Way of Kings, the first book of his new series and also a Cosmere book ๐ <3
Iโve read both SA books and find myself liking them more than the Mistborn ones but am still throughly enjoying them! I picked up Arcanum Unbounded several weeks ago but I wanted to finish Mistborn first.
Yep, totally the same here xD I enjoyed Mistborn but I like Stormlight Archive a lot more xD You can really see how much Brandon Sanderson has improved as a writer since his first works ๐
@Alli donโt let yourself down, the intro is quit long but when the story starts it is so exciting, moving and so interesting, when you read them please tell me what you think
A Redwall book, one of my favourites, Mariel of Redwall. I love the fact that they are more of a radio drama, my sons enjoyed them when they were young, and I actually enjoy them still LOL. Music all the way through, and a fast paced story. When I’m tired and have things to do, sometimes one of those really gets me going.
The last two are not strictly involving Sophie and Howl but they do make appearances along with mentions of places and people from previous books. I like the series as a whole though! Diana Wynne Jones is super imaginative!
I checked out one from the library and I thought it said James Patterson but it’s not even though I thought I would listen to it not my cup of tea. Try to get to the library today

What do you think of the narrator? I did not like her at all.
I have listened to every book on audio and she does them all. I think I’m just used to her after 60+ hours ?? but I have recorded a few messups she’s done that make me laugh!!
Lol.
I think sometimes if you love the book, you can get over the narration.
I agree and I think the more you power through you can get used to it. It does take will power though!

House of Many Ways (Howl’s Moving Castle #3) by Diana Wynne Jones
I always thought the book the movie was based on was a manga. I’ll look for these books now that I know they’re novels, and more than 1
The last two are not strictly involving Sophie and Howl but they do make appearances along with mentions of places and people from previous books. I like the series as a whole though! Diana Wynne Jones is super imaginative!
Thanks. I’ll definitely look for them now.
