They sound very interesting
Every generation triplets are born to the Queen of Fennbirn. Each is gifted with a power: Mirabella-the elemental, Arsinoe- the naturalist, and Katherine- the poisoner. The young queens are separated at age 6, and are sent to families that will raise them and teach them how to wield their gifts in preparation for their 16th birthday. On Beltane, the day the queens were born, their Ascension year begins. During this time the queens are pitted against each other. One will survive, and win the crown, by killing the other two.
The first two books were amazing.
