Dark Ages and The Scylding by Valerie L. Price. I learned a lot about life and people from them, even though they are fantasy fiction. Especially The Scylding. It really made me think about how the world never really changes. Most of the stuff people think is really important is just bogus. I like to talk to other people who have read it. Always something interesting to think about.

A Man’s Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl
I’m asking because I would live to be able to read one both my husband and I can enjoy and learn together
It may not be a popular opinion but this book was a game changer for me and my marriage.
Preferably heavy on the chicken pot pie.
