Jane Two by Sean Patrick Flanery. He’ s the actor from Boondocks Saints,Powder & Young Indiana Jones. He wrote a book based on his childhood & the wisdom his grandfather passed in to him. (He did change the names. ) But it was a great coming of age story about growing up in Texas in the 70’s & 80’s It’s got humor & drama.

That was a wonderful book. I read it after Lincoln in the Bardo and realiz d that Fannie Flagg used the idea of conversations between ghosts first.

@ElissaWhat an incredible book. Not just the subject matter but the writing was so captivating that I was transported to each and everyone of the locations in the book as if I had been one of the characters. The Sympathizer and The Underground Railroad have been two of my favorite books of recent years.
