I was soooo hyped for this one! The storyline sounded amazing, the cover was gorgeous. And then I thought it was just meh. Still gave it 5 stars to support debut authors.
I might be in the same boat. When I read acotar the first time I DNFed it. Then picked it up again and struggled to read the whole thing. Got to less then 200 pages left in ACOMAf and DNFed it. I bought ACOWAR when it came out and I might read them again because interested but hadn’t made the initiative to pick them up because they are big books
The first book is ok for me but the second one is just “blah”? it is so frustrating that i dnfed it 2x. Then came the third one and it is so lame. I just read it out of curiosity and oh boy the struggle is real.
