I finished The Demonologist just last night. I’ll read a few short stories out of Skeleton Crew before starting my next novel, The Prisoner of Heaven by Carlos Ruiz Zafon.
@Jana YES, FINALLY SOMEBODY HERE WHO’S GONNA READ ONE OD MY FAVORITE BOOKS BY MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE AUTHOR, I AM SO HAPPY ♥ In case you didn’t know, The prisoner of heaven is the 2nd book in the series. But the great thing about the “Cemetery of forgotten books” series is that you can read them in whatever order you like! ^^ I, for example, read 3,1,2, which still is my preferred order to read them in ♡ I am sorry for this long comment, I just love this author so much, I couldn’t help it ♡
It’s the 3rd book in the series and I absolutely ADORED the first 2!! Book 4 just came out in English and I’m so so so excited to continue the series!! Such beautiful stories. ?
I reread it earlier this year (read it at university a lifetime ago). Really enjoyed it (though I could have done without the chapters on agricultural reforms in 19th century Russia lol)
Poison (Tales from the Kingdoms #1) by Sarah Pinborough.
